blank space is our personal space. Here you will find our free works. Because every now and then we test new techniques, try them out and tinker. So that we are always up-to-date and can optimally use the technical innovations of our industry.
For this little beauty issue, Dominik has been working on glass and light refraction.
Before something unspectacular can look so spectacular, render engines and the 3D artist have to be able to do a lot.
In the CGI world, a beam of light that is refracted and reflected dozens of times is not so easy to render photorealistically “out of the box”.
But if you are a master of your craft like Dominik, then it is, in the words of Deichkind, “leider geil”.
So there are no limits for the 3D visualisation of glass flacons, jewellery and co.
